Our last day in Taiwan was so jam-packed. We had to pack up our things early because we had to check out at noon and there were so many places listed in our itinerary. We also went straight to the airport after our whole day tour. Our first drink for the day was milk tea and this was the best milk tea for me! Coco ! :) I had my first drink from their stall in SM North and it tasted exactly the same!! We had this while waiting for our number to be called in Din Tai Fung. The branch were we dined was the one near Chiang Kai Shek Memorial. There were so many people waiting outside the restaurant! After we got our number, we strolled in the nearby park and that's how we found Coco. We waited for almost 1.5 hours to be served but hey, it was worth it!! Of course we ordered the famous Xiao Long Bao. It was really good!!! No wonder people are raving about it. The staff taught us how to eat XLB properly. Day 3 Our Day 3 in Taiwan was more tiring compared to day 2 and it was because of the cold weather!!! Our outfit were so out of place. I swear we have checked several times 1 week before our travel and Accuweather was consistent in giving a 26degree weather in our whole stay so we brought summer outfit 😂. Thank goodness we also brought jackets and scarfs for emergency purposes. Our first meal for the day was breakfast... in Mcdonalds ! In order to squeeze in a "quality time" on our hectic schedule, I visited him on a weekday after work few weeks ago. Honestly, it was kind of difficult to be in a long distance relationship (if you consider ours as one, we live in neighbor provinces :P ), one has always to sacrifice in order to meet at least once a week. The first time I went to Cebu, which was in 2016, we explored the northern part of it. Me and my sister stayed in Bantayan Island. What a beautiful place it is! Having a partner who supports you in whatever crazy things you do is one of life's greatest blessings. Luckily, I have found mine, who, for the sake of blogging (aspirant here!), recommends must-try fast food, stalls and restaurant. He even is my photographer! In our everyday conversations, he frequently mentioned that he buys food from this certain stall in Tarlac named Mayummy. This stall offers stir fried rice, tokwa't baboy (my fave :) ) and many other options in an affordable price. As I've seen from the pics he sent me, the food is really mouth watering.  Last month, I've got the chance to try his favorite stir fried rice from Mayummy. Last month, I got to spend his birthday with him for the first time in x years that I've known him. It really was a special day for me (as if I was the celebrator) for it was a dream came true. I've always wanted to do this before but our schedules never met. Finally, it happened. I arrived from Taiwan around 6am at NAIA that day. Went home to quickly freshen up and to leave my baggage then traveled to Tarlac with no sleep at all since 7am of the day before. We had dinner at  Aling Lucing Sisig last month. We were supposed to have light snack that time since we already had a buffet lunch. I can't exactly remember why we landed to Aling Lucing Sisig 😂 When we arrived, there are two stalls of Aling Lucing Sisig (same name but with different signage). We can't exactly decide which one to try because we don't know the difference of the two. We chose the one with green signage (if you are facing the two stalls, this one is on your right) because the waitress approached us 😆 We then asked her if the stalls are the same and she said no, the other one has just recently opened. Don't expect a lot from this stall (I call it stall because I don't know what should I call it). It is not air conditioned (only big fans were used to ventilate it), it is along the hi-way, if you prefer to use disposable utensils like me, well, these are not available here. This post is so overdue. I've been very busy for the past few months, I never had time to add another post here. Travels, family gatherings, office matters and all.. time surely flies!! The first four months of the year are almost done! We barely notice it.  But I do hope time slows down a bit. The 24 hours in a day seem to pass by so quickly. Anyways, we visited Koko Buri last year November and haven't come back yet. It just so happen that we were around the area so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived (past lunch time) there are only few customers in the restaurant so we had the chance to choose a seat far from the main door. Coffee shops nowadays became our go-to place for desserts or for "kwentuhan". I usually don't drink coffee because of acid reflux that's why I'm thankful Coffee shops have these non-espresso drinks. Starbucks has always been a crowd favorite, in the Philippines at least. It has been our family tradition to have coffee after dinner and Starbucks is our favorite coffee shop. We are in love with their French toast, Cheesecakes, Signature hot chocolate and other non-espresso drinks. We visit SB very often, like once a week, and I already know the taste of a certain drink just by looking at it. That's why I'm always searching for a new coffee shop to try. Found my new favorite tho - Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf but it has few branches in Angeles City. The search still continues and that's how I found Teaspoon Cafe .
