Food Trip: Taiwan Day 4

Our last day in Taiwan was so jam-packed. We had to pack up our things early because we had to check out at noon and there were so many places listed in our itinerary. We also went straight to the airport after our whole day tour.

Our first drink for the day was milk tea and this was the best milk tea for me! Coco! :) I had my first drink from their stall in SM North and it tasted exactly the same!! We had this while waiting for our number to be called in Din Tai Fung.

The branch were we dined was the one near Chiang Kai Shek Memorial. There were so many people waiting outside the restaurant! After we got our number, we strolled in the nearby park and that's how we found Coco.

We waited for almost 1.5 hours to be served but hey, it was worth it!! Of course we ordered the famous Xiao Long Bao. It was really good!!! No wonder people are raving about it. The staff taught us how to eat XLB properly.

We also had Mushroom Fried Rice and Dan Dan Noodles with Spicy Sesame and Peanut Sauce which were good as well. So glad that those do not have the taste of the "seasoning" that Taiwanese people use.

The food we ordered looked like it's not enough for the three of us but believe me, it was even too much. We ordered XLB dessert but we had it packed because we were so full.

It was kinda pricey but it's worth it.

After our whole day tour, as in literally whole day, we had our dinner in Modern Toilet before going to the airport. If you have a sensitive stomach then this restaurant is not for you. The seats inside the restaurant were literally toilet and there were poop scattered everywhere!

We ordered different kinds of food and we're glad the food tasted normal. 😋

After eating dinner, we proceeded to airport to fly back home.

Thank you, Taiwan for the experience 💘
